Having coached thousands of salespeople, leaders, and business owners throughout the past decade one thing has been very clear.
If you want to continuously learn and grow to become a master in your field, then you need to go through this four-step learning process.
1. šāāļø Just Do It!
Too many people think that reading, watching tutorial videos, or listening to lessons is enough to learn. But the truth is if you want to begin learning at the highest levels, you have to just do it!
Take action on the knowledge, or idea that you have, then you will gain real-life feedback. Which will most likely bring us to the next stepā¦
2.Ā āĀ Fail
With any new knowledge or skills weāre picking up, we will almost certainly fail. Failures are the seeds of the greatest lessons that we can learn.
Very often we can only gain these seeds through failure and not just a book.
3. šĀ Learn
Analyse and learn from your failures, nurture the seeds of your failures until you get that breakthrough understanding of what you truly needed to learn and actually apply it!
That is when you truly have learnt, but thatās not enough. You will need toā¦
4. šĀ Improve
You need to constantly be growing and improving in your life. Otherwise, others will overtake you if youāre in a competitive field.
Eventually, if you stay stagnant for too long you become irrelevant and obsolete because of new insights and development in technology.
So always be improving!
