Does this sound familiar?

Your parent: finish up the food.
You: but I don’t like it.
Your parent: I don’t care, finish it or else…
You: *eats the food*.

If you are like me, we may have heard of this when we were a kid at least a dozen times. I think it serves a very important lesson – we need to finish what we start. How many times did we give up on the things we are doing? How many times we give up on the prospect we are pursuing? How many times have we quit the current sales job for another one because the current one is tough? Persistence is about fighting through the challenges, problems, or obstacles.

So, finish what you start.
